| SVX Stage Two:
Stage 2 software provides engine management for up to 500hp, opening the
doors for engine modifications and forced induction systems
such as turbos and superchargers. Stage 2v7F is the
flex fuel version offering the ability to switch between
running gasoline or E85 fuels. The factory engine management system
on an SVX is extremely powerful and very good at doing what
it was designed and programmed to do. From the factory
it comes designed and programmed to manage the power output
levels of a stock SVX engine. The stock air flow meter
is only capable of measuring about the air flow that a stock
EG33 engine ingests. The stock fuel injectors have a
little more headroom than the air flow meter.
Stage 2 uses a Z32 mass air flow meter to enable it to measure
500 Hp
worth of air and SR20DET fuel injectors to enable it to
inject 500 Hp worth of fuel.
The optimum air to fuel ratio and ignition timing values
for these higher output ranges learned from our experience
in tuning forced induction on the SVX are incorporated into
the Stage 2 software. This provides turn key engine
management for up to 500hp. The extremely powerful
system is already programmed to adjust for all operating
conditions. In the mountains of Colorado or along the
beaches of Florida, on a 30 degree day or 110 degree day,
when your battery voltage is low or when your battery
voltage is high the Stage 2 engine management system will
adjust for optimum performance.
There are two versions of Stage 2v7 software, "Stage 2v7"
and "Stage 2v7F." Each of our memory adaptors holds two versions of
software which can be switched between on the fly.
Both versions of Stage 2v7 software are tuned for normal
operation with premium unleaded gasoline. The standard
Stage 2v7 software has the ability to be switched to tuning
for nitrous oxide. Stage 2v7F has the ability to be
switched to tuning for E85 fuel instead of gasoline.
Please note that we are only providing engine management
software that is capable of running E85. It is each user's
responsibility to determine the appropriateness of this
product for their application.
