This
camshaft set includes the camshafts, inner valve springs,
intake valves, and exhaust valves. The camshafts are
custom ground with advanced CNC generated profiles which
maintain good idle and low end performance along with the
massive improvements in high RPM breathing and ability to
maintain efficient exhaust gas clearing with high boost
forced induction systems. The lift of these camshafts
requires the use of the custom forged valves to prevent coil
bind. The included, longer custom forged valves
maintain the factory lash with the factory hydraulic lash
adjusters. Intake valves are stainless steel.
Exhaust valves are Inconel for increased longevity when used
on a turbocharged or supercharged engine.
Custom inner valves springs are included which generate
the desired range of tension through the range of valve
movement. 65 lbs seat pressure maintains positive
combustion chamber sealing while open tension maintain
positive valve control ensuring the lobe profile is followed
despite increases in manifold pressure and airflow exerted
against the valve. |
