High Performance Subaru SVX Engine Components
|

Forged SVX Pistons:
designed for use with either gasoline or E85 and boost
levels well into the 30's psi range. They are
machined from the strongest forgings possible with emphasis
being placed on strength. Appropriate rings are included and
optimum ring placement for the application was incorporated
into the design. Lateral gas porting was incorporated to
facilitate sealing of extreme cylinder pressures. Tool
steel pins were used for maximum strength. Pins are centered
as this is better for higher cylinder pressures. Piston
tops are designed for optimum squish area performance,
intake charge mix, charge to spark kernel presentation,
flame propagation, and expansion force application. |

ESP H-Beam Rods: Eagle has
put together a weight matched set of 6 ESP H-Beam rods just
for us. Each rod is about 90 grams lighter than a
stock rod and many times stronger. These rods are an
excellent choice for connecting our forged pistons to the
crank in your built SVX engine. |

SVX Performance Camshaft Set: This
camshaft set includes the camshafts, inner valve springs,
intake valves, and exhaust valves. The camshafts are
custom ground with advanced CNC generated profiles which
maintain good idle and low end performance along with the
massive improvements in high RPM breathing and ability to
maintain efficient exhaust gas clearing with high boost
forced induction systems. |
